Conversation Starters for Families

Parenting is. the oddest phenomenon. You spend every single day with your child, but at various points in their life you look at them and think, “Wow. They are their own person.” You watch them grow up before your eyes and it begins to feel like you know about them but don’t actually know them.

Something I’ve started doing is every night before reading a book before bed, I ask my girls a question. Some of them are silly and yet others really show us a huge part of their heart. But more than anything, these questions inspire conversation to happy, which in our world is few and far between.
